Phoebe Pitcher

Phoebe Pitcher initially worked as a Caseworker for the Member of Parliament for Richmond (Yorks) after graduating. Now she is a Transport Consultant, following a passion that was ignited during her time studying abroad.

I studied for a BA in Politics at the University of Liverpool from 2017 to 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I chose the University of Liverpool because of their Parliamentary Placement Scheme, and I was fortunate enough to participate in it, completing a placement as a Caseworker for a local Member of Parliament. This experience undoubtedly equipped me with the skills necessary for my role as a Caseworker for the Member of Parliament for Richmond (Yorks) after graduating.

Following a number of years working as a Caseworker, I returned to university to pursue an MSc in Transport Planning. My passion for transport and transport policy was really ignited during my time studying abroad in Amsterdam – another opportunity provided by the University of Liverpool. I now work as a Transport Consultant, allowing me to combine my love for both policy and transport!
