Some Physics Outreach Group events can be easily adapted to a group to suit age group and have been run successfully for group from year 7–13. However to gain the most benefit the group should all be from (approximately) the same year group. These activities can accommodate large numbers of pupils and can be run either on campus or in your school. Click on the links below to find out more about each workshop.
This is an extremely popular interactive show adaptable to audiences of all ages. The Show explores the properties of materials and how these are affected when brought to the extremely low temperatures of substances like liquid nitrogen.
Interactive demonstrations and props help the audience visualise Physics principles while having fun and joining in on experiments that go off with a bang!
