And the winner is…
Staff from across the University were recognised at the Staff Awards 2016 ceremony at the Liverpool Guild of Students.
Hosted by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Patrick Hackett, more than 270 staff attended the event where BBC Radio Merseyside Presenter Roger Phillips revealed the winners. The awards, which recognise the excellent work of staff from across the university, aim to inspire, encourage and support a shared commitment to realising the University's vision.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Janet Beer said: “The annual Staff Awards event is a fantastic opportunity to recognise the commitment, skill and success of our colleagues. Their work helps to make the University an exceptional institution.”
We are proud and honoured that our very own Liam Boynton won the “Apprentice of the Year” award. The photograph above shows him (centre) with his colleagues John Carroll (left) and Michael Wormald (right). Congratulations!
