STFC summer school 2023
The 52nd STFC HEP summer school took place in Oxford during the first two weeks of September. The school is attended by almost all experimental particle Physics PhD students who have finished their 1st year and attend a UK university.
This year Liverpool was one of the biggest groups in the school with 10 PhD students and 2 staff members attending (this includes Dr. Susha Parameswaran from Liverpool Maths Department, who taught the Standard Model Course). The school is also directed by Dr. Yanyan Gao who used to be a University of Liverpool academic.
