In addition to tours, guest speakers and your opportunity to deliver science communication to the next generation at the mini physics jamboree, there will be plenty of time to build a network of peers.
Meeting other women and non-binary physicists and is a hugely important part of this conference and we have ensured that there is plenty of time to make connections and ask questions of all the attendees and contributors
First night social – After a warm scouse welcome, we will start the conference with a speed networking activity and quiz!
Friday night is Pizza night! – Grab a slice and some ideas from local industries then get a “Pinch of Physics” - bitesize research talks from Liverpool physics post-grads.
Take it easy with a Self-guided walking tour of Liverpool which ends at the Conference dinner – at the Merseyside Maritime Museum in the World famous Albert Dock.
Panels
- We will have 3 panels of different women and non-binary physicists from established academics to very early careers.
- We will be using Slido during our panel sessions so that you and your fellow delegates can get answers to the most pressing questions.
