Art and the Future
The focus of this theme is on the diverse influences new technologies might have on the arts, and the ways in which the arts can contribute to the futures these technologies make possible. What forms of artistic and creative expression do new technologies enable? Are any of these radically new? What can art teach us about post-human futures? How do the arts help negotiate the political challenges of the future?
