Rachael Wiseman is on the editorial board for the new Anthem Press Studies in Wittgenstein series, edited by Constantine Sandis and in association with the British Wittgenstein Society. This promises to be an exciting series of new and re-published works.
Daniel Hill has been publishing a series of opinion pieces on the relationship between marriage and the state. You can read them here, here and here. In this final piece, published on the FREER blog, Daniel argues that marriage should be ‘set free from the romance-killing hand of the state’.
Tom Brown, currently on the MA Philosophy, will be joining us next year as a PhD student. Tom writes about philosophy of language, metaphysics and literature on his blog.

Daniel Hill and PhD student Matt Hart were in Cambridge for the annual meeting of the Tyndale Fellowship’s Study Group in Philosophy of Religion. Daniel was chair and Matt presented a paper.
Richard Gaskin has a new website. On The Literary Voice he'll be posting audio recordings of some of his favourite classic literary and philosophical works. There are loads of great recordings up already - perfect summer listening!
PhD researcher Rachel Handley was back spreading the word about Quasi-Realism! She presented her paper “Quasi-Realism, Disagreement, and Fundamental Error” in Amsterdam at the Conference by Women in Philosophy.
