Design for High Performance and Business Skills

Module Summary

This module is divided into two distinct components: Firstly, students will attend a lecture course on business skills where they will cover topics that include project management, negotiation skills, financial planning and technology transfer. Secondly, they will attend a lecture course on electronic structure of related PV materials and how to generate theoretical models that predict the maximum performance parameters of a PV device. Students will also engage in practical work and group projects.

Assessment for the module will include a brief examination on lecture course content, a lab report and a group presentation
