Dr Michael Cearns
Michael is a Specialty Registrar in Neurosurgery. He qualified from UCL and undertook his initial neurosurgical training in Glasgow. He serves on the Society of British Neurological Surgeons Academic Committee in his role as RCS(Eng) Associate Surgical Specialty Lead for Neurosurgery. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Liverpool studying the cellular and molecular immunology of glioblastoma.
Filippo Dall'Armellina
Filippo graduated with First class Honours in Biological and Medical Sciences at the University of Liverpool in 2022, where he was the student speaker and ceremony valedictorian. Since then, he has been working on his PhD in neurobiology, focusing on protein and lipid trafficking within the cell through experimental and in silico approaches. As co-host of the show Neuro Podcases, ranked globally by Listen Notes in the top 5% most popular podcasts, he discusses cutting-edge neuroscience research at the University and internationally.
