Fellowships

McDonald Fellowships
MSIF's McDonald Fellowships fund 2-year research placements for early career researchers from low- and middle-income countries.

The fellowship consists of a two-year grant, around £30,000 GBP per year, to cover travel and living costs, and an additional contribution of £2,000 GBP per year to the host institution.

Bursaries

Encephalitis International
ENCEPHALITIS 2024 - 2nd and 3rd December 2024

This is an excellent forum for physicians, scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals to exchange ideas, knowledge and clinical experience relating to encephalitis.

You can join in-person at the Royal College of Physicians, London, or virtually, via the online Conference Platform. 

Encephalitis International offers a limited number of bursaries for anyone interested in Encephalitis and who are from low and middle income countries to attend in person.

Global Brain Health Changemaker Challenge
Submit a short video detailing a change you or your team have made either in a rural or urban location in a low or middle income country. 

The award for first prize covers the cost of registration for a place at the June 2025 NeuroID course in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The award also includes $800 USD towards travel and accommodation expenses. If a group submission wins then the lead applicant will receive the prize. See the NeuroID course website.
