Once devoted to the fields of taxonomy and economic botany, the expertise and reach of botanic gardens now extends to numerous branches of research both within plant sciences, horticulture and more broadly ranging from ecology and conservation though to social sciences.
Our living collections, landscape, facilities or expertise are provided for any member of the University of Liverpool, whatever their department, to use in their studies or research.
We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with botanic gardens worldwide and other partner organisations in conservation, as well as with researchers from other universities, colleges and other research institutions.
To request use of our collections, landscape or expertise, please contact our Curator, Nick Lightfoot, at nspkl@liverpool.ac.uk.
