Nordic walking - advanced

In our advanced class, you'll engage in more rigorous sessions, where we'll fine-tune your Nordic walking form to perfection.

We'll elevate your fitness with longer walks, through speed training, hill reps, strength, and conditioning exercises. You will be working towards establishing a perfect, flowing technique, while consistently elevating fitness levels and of course enjoying the sights and sounds of the outdoors.

Some poles can be provided, but at this level it is assumed that you will already have your own Nordic walking poles. Please bring with you a comfortable pair of running shoes with a good thread or lightweight walking shoes. If the weather looks wet please bring waterproofs.

This is an on going course delivered in 4 week blocks, which you are welcome to keep attending.

Four weekly sessions 12.30pm-2pm.

  • Wednesday 13 March - Wednesday 10 April (no session Wednesday 3 April)
  • Wednesday 17 April - Wednesday 8 May
  • Wednesday 15 May - Wednesday 5 June
  • Wednesday 12 June – Wednesday 3 July

Fees

Each 4 week block costs £45 (£36 Members of Ness Gardens)

Suitable for

Aged 16+. It is essential that you have regularly attended our  Alternatively, good levels of fitness with experience of nordic walking.
