Upload samples of your work
Performance is not compulsory at the University of Liverpool. For some, intellectual engagement with music in the modern world might be about composition, technology, history, theory, culture. If you are interested in performance, then you can submit a recording and or video of your performance which we can use in support of your application. We would advise that you perform whatever piece you are most comfortable with (between 5–10 minutes). This could be compositions, links to YouTube performances, audio tracks of your work, video files, essays, Sibelius/Finale files – anything that shows you in a good light. Please use this link to upload your work. Once we receive your work, we download it to our secure servers and remove it from dropbox. Please label your work as: “Smith, John – Title.mp3”. No more than three pieces of work in total and no more than two audio or video files: small format please (mp3, mp4 etc).
Life on campus
One of the big advantages of Liverpool is that we are a compact campus within easy walking distance of the city centre. Whatever you are studying, you won’t have to walk far to reach libraries, lecture theatres and study rooms. And in between classes and study time you’ll be able to make the most out of our sports facilities, Guild of Students, and lovely green spaces right on your doorstep.
