About

I joined the School of the Arts in 2015, after previously working on an AHRC-funded project on Latin American Digital Art in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures. Before moving to Liverpool I was a Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at the Institute of Modern Languages Research, University of London. Originally a Literature graduate from the University of Buenos Aires, I received my doctorate from the University of Cambridge where I was a Gates scholar. I am an Assistant Editor of the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies and of the Bulletin of Contemporary Hispanic Studies. In 2019 I co-curated the installation Tearing up the past at Tate Liverpool and I am the PI of the AHRC-funded project Cold War Toys: Material Cultures of Childhood in Argentina (2022-2024). I have recently been invited to contribute to two BBC-Radio 3 Thinking Programme. In 2023 I co-curated with Natalia Fortuny and Martín Legón the exhibition Escala 1:43 in Buenos Aires.
