Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust comprises Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals and the Wirral Women and Children’s Hospital, which is also on the Arrowe Park site.  

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of:

• Arrowe Park Hospital, Upton – delivering a full range of emergency and acute services for adults and children, plus maternity services
• Clatterbridge Hospital, Bebington – undertaking the majority of planned surgical services and some specialist rehabilitation.

• Y3 – Medicine, Surgery, O&G and Paediatrics placements  
• Y4 – Medicine and Surgery (Only Ophthalmology)  
• Y5 – Acute blocks covering ED, Medicine, Surgery and Critical care & Anaesthetics and ward shadow placements covering medicine or surgery.
