Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT) comprises of Aintree University Hospital, the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, and the Liverpool University Dental Hospital; which provide a full range of services, including acute medicine, accident and emergency, acute frailty units, rehabilitation services, dental services and surgical services, and with tertiary referral specialist services in medicine and surgery.

LUHFT is the main provider of general hospital services to the Liverpool population and neighbouring catchments, covering a total population of around 700,000 people.
