Our Alumni community
From adventurous flying doctors to business savvy pharma entrepreneurs, trailblazing surgeons to life-changing clinical researchers, our alumni community really does fly the flag for the medical avant-garde.
We couldn't be prouder of our past graduates and all that they go on to achieve. It's testament to their experience with us that so many of our alumni continue to have strong bonds with the School, regularly coming back to campus to connect with students, act as an examiner or interviewer, or even join our teaching staff.
Stay connected to Liverpool by sharing your story, getting involved with volunteer or teaching opportunities and being an active member of our alumni network.

Teaching & Volunteering opportunities
During your time as a student at Liverpool, did you know many of the staff you have worked with over the years were Liverpool alumni? We would love you to consider returning to your School of Medicine family to help us teach the next generation of doctors.
- Teach with us has details of the different options available to educators.
There are loads of ways you can get involved and support the MBChB programme as a volunteer. Our Clinical Skills team are always looking to build their pool of examiners to assess students’ clinical competence in practical assessments. Each year, interviews are held to select students for entry to our programme from around 4000 applicants. The process wouldn't be possible without the support of those with relevant experience of healthcare medical volunteering a few hours of their time.
