Charters
The School of Medicine at the University of Liverpool is proud to have signed charters related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity in education and practice.
The charters we have signed up to are:
Widening participation
The School of Medicine is committed to increasing widening participation for its programmes in line with the Medical School Council’s Selecting for Excellence report. This aims to provide a body of evidence which medical schools can use to ensure that they are selecting candidates who will make excellent doctors – no matter their backgrounds.
For more information on the School’s extensive Widening Participation policy, please see the relevant pages.
School of Medicine EDI reading list
To help both staff, students and our wider educator network think about useful resources in relation to EDI, we have a School of Medicine EDI Reading list, which can be accessed for members of the University of Liverpool at the bottom of this page.
