Five student doctors are celebrating this month after having been awarded a commendation for going above and beyond in their studies, on placement or in their extra-curricular activities this December.
Commendations are a great way of recognising someone who is really pulling out all the stops. It couldn’t be easier to submit your nomination - simply fill out a quick and easy form on the Commendations page (link) of the student intranet.
Celebrating this month
Ollie Ross, nominated by Dr Kath Macbeth for being an exceptional colleague in Paediatric Dermatology placement.
Heather Todd, nominated by Mr Praveen Rao for being extremely proactive and focused, demonstrating performance beyond a Year 5 Student.
Charlotte Smith, nominated by Dr Stewart Hale for demonstrating a level of appreciation and understanding of Primary Care, beyond the expected level of a Year 5 student doctor.
Anxhela Syziu, nominated by Dr Stewart Hale for demonstrating excellent consultation skills on GP placement.
Imogen Pearson, nominated by Dr Monica Bhushan for an approach to learning opportunities and clinical acumen which is above expectations for a Year 3 student.
Congratulations to all of you! Looking forward to seeing plenty more commendations this year.
