Inspirational Case Presentation

Published on

Commendations are a great way to recognise the student doctors who have gone above and beyond. We want to highlight the great work of the students earning a commendation, and tell you a bit more about how they achieved them!

Year 4 Student Doctor, Kathryn Tipping, was nominated by Dr Charlotte Fok for inspirational case presentation while on GP placement. Kathryn gave her presentation in CCT, which resulted in her nomination.

Nikita said:

"The commendation scheme is fantastic way of recognising students and you can add it to your e-portfolio.  It’s always nice to see other students receiving commendations too as I know how much it means to them."

Medical school is very rewarding but it can also be hard work and tiring so it’s great to feel valued and that your contribution has been noticed.

"There’s a lot of students who do amazing things every day, especially charity work, teaching other students, volunteering etc.  It would be great to see it being utilised a bit more - students can nominate each other as well as staff!"
