There are two things we hope to achieve as a School. We want to create a fantastic learning community, made up of talented teachers working with gifted students that have a passion for learning. We want these students to be themselves, to achieve their potential and go on to study amazing STEM degrees and have successful careers.
Damian Haigh, Headteacher
The other aim to grow our community beyond the walls of our School and raise attainment across the region by reaching and supporting those students that could excel in STEM if given the opportunity. The University and its partners are already doing so much to support and nurture interest in STEM subjects locally, through widening participation programmes and outreach activities led by the Maths and Physics Departments. We want to continue to work in harmony with these groups to improve access and attainment within the Liverpool City Region.
