• Foliation singularities, complex geometry
• The classification of vector bundles on algebraic curves and the geometry of moduli spaces of stable bundles
• Higher dimensional birational geometry, birational rigidity, Fano varieties
• K3 surfaces, hyperbolic Kac-Moody algebras and mirror symmetry
• Algebraic Cycles, Motives, Bloch's conjecture on Albanese kernel, A^1-homotopy theory of schemes
• Moduli spaces of curves and Gromov-Witten theory
• Derived and triangulated categories, noncommutative algebraic geometry
