Title: The application of ocular biomechanics to improve vision and eye care

Biography: Dr Wang worked from 2011 as part of the University of Liverpool’s Biomechanical Engineering Group, where his main focus was on corneal modelling.  As a member of the Biomechanical Engineering Group, Dr Wang visited the Ocular Biomechanics Group at Wenzhou Medical University, the University where he is now based.  Dr Wang has since completed research on the mitochondrial genome and the enhancement of radiation cancer therapies, whilst maintaining his interest in corneal topography.  Dr Junjie Wang returns to Liverpool as the guest of LCMH, hosted by Professor Ahmed Elsheikh.
