Liverpool staff gather to explore state-of-the-art facilities at MIF showcase
Published on
In their inaugural showcase, the Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) hosted research staff from across all three faculties to reveal the depth of the technical capabilities available to University of Liverpool staff. Attendees discovered what facilities were available, how to access them and the opportunities to collaborate with the MIF technical team of experts who aim to assist with their research challenges.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the world-class facilities available to University of Liverpool staff and highlight how researchers can incorporate these resources into their grants and funding proposals.
Attendees received presentations on MIF facilities, access protocols, successful case studies and an opportunity to network with the technical team. Guided tours showcased the Open Access facilities, featuring over £15M of advanced laboratory robotics and analytical equipment for Materials Science research, all fully supported by the technical team.
