As a fully qualified Careers Adviser, Sadie is committed to supporting students on their career journey and empowering students to proactively manage their network, career journeys and personal brand.
Sadie offers individualised one-to-one career guidance appointments where students can explore their career plans and receive feedback on a wide range of subjects - from LinkedIn profiles to interview techniques.
Throughout the year, Sadie leads on several high-impact, tailored projects and events to ensure you receive support that matches your interests and requirements.
Sadie is our lead contact for Marketing, Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) and Work, Organisation and Management programmes.
Sabaet Campbell
MSc Careers Adviser
Career Development Institute (CDI) Registered Professional
Sabaet is a fully qualified Careers professional and developmental coach with extensive experience working with international students in the UK.
Sabaet recognises the challenges international students face in their career planning and offers bespoke support in a variety of settings to ensure you are prepared to enter the graduate labour market.
Sabaet is dedicated to working with MSc students and leads several key events and projects tailored to your needs. Sabaet also offers one-to-one career appointments each week to guide and coach students through exploring their options and taking the next steps in achieving their career goals.
Sabaet is our lead contact for Accounting and Finance, Economics and Operations and Supply Chain Management programmes.
Stuart Nicholls
Global Employment Opportunities Officer
Career Development Institute (CDI) Registered Professional
Stuart is a fully qualified Careers Adviser, experienced in Educational Careers Services for more than 25 years.
Stuart liaises with our MSc students in the Management School and offers individual, one-to-one information appointments for international students to help explore employability options and recognises the challenges international students face during their employment journey.
Together with colleagues in the MSc careers team, Stuart develops and presents activities and projects covering a range of careers & employability-related themes such as Networking, CVs, Master's Consultancy Challenge, Applications, Assessment Centres, Interview Preparation, and Job Search.
Stuart leads on ensuring MSc students have an awareness of labour market requirements and oversees masterclasses each week to help students prepare for the recruitment process.
Anne Pettitt
Work Related Learning Officer
Anne is a fully qualified Career professional and leads experiential learning opportunities for the Team.
Anne is our lead contact for employers and works closely with Employer Connections and External Relations colleagues to ensure employers play a key part in our support.
Anne is the key contact within the team for employer engagement and seeks to build long-term relationships with employers to provide work-related learning opportunities for our students.
Anne contract manages relationships with external suppliers of work-related learning and delivers tailored extra and co-curricular skills workshops, employer panel events and other work experience opportunities to students.
Lucy Clark
Employability Coordinator
Lucy is the Coordinator in the Employability Team and leads on ensuring all events and activities are successfully planned, facilitated and evaluated. Lucy works closed with the Team Leader to ensure our support is fully quality-assured and reflects key performance indicators.
Lucy is responsible for collecting data and feedback to generate reports on student engagement to share with senior colleagues and help the team appreciate the value of our offer.
Furthermore, Lucy is leading the ULMS MSc CareerLink: Alumni-Student Mentorship Programme. This programme connects students to global alumni to expand their network and gain insights into the job or industry they may wish to enter post-graduation.
Dedicated Careers Week events
The MSc Careers Team offer a sector-leading portfolio of expert-led, tailored advice and guidance opportunities and approaches both in person and virtual.
Alongside regular 1:1 appointments and employability-focused projects for those with a specific interest, we also oversee dedicated employability weeks for you to identify labour market requirements, practice recruitment techniques and support your career planning.
You will have access to a wide variety of tailored sessions delivered by external experts, alumni, employers and the MSc Careers team.
The sessions aim to equip you to Explore, Plan and Action your career and develop your employability skills.
