About

Severina is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Marketing, the Global Opportunities Academic Lead for the University of Liverpool Management School and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is also Freeman of the City of London and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

Severina completed her PhD in social media marketing within business-to-business domain at the University of Bath, School of Management. She also holds an MSc in Marketing and a BSc in Business Administration with focus on International Business.

Prior to joining ULMS Severina taught various undergraduate and postgraduate modules at Coventry University as a Lecturer in Digital Marketing. She was awarded best paper 2018 in Industrial Marketing Management and best paper in Academy of Marketing Doctoral Colloquium in 2018. In 2019 Severina also won the Worshipful Company of Marketors award for her PhD. In addition to her academic role, Severina is the Global Opportunities Academic Lead working together with the University of Liverpool Study Abroad team. Further to her academic education and qualifications, Severina has worked as a social media marketing consultant, European marketing channel executive, research project manager as well as other positions within industry.

Severina’s research focuses on business-to-business marketing, relationship marketing, social media marketing and digital marketing.
