Professor Jason Choi Ph.D.

Personal Statement

Professor Tsan-Ming CHOI (Jason) is an operational researcher and systems engineer. He is now Chair in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Director of the Centre for Supply Chain Research at University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). He has published extensively in leading journals in the fields of operations management, engineering management, logistics, and supply chain management. His recent research has been funded by many external funding bodies. Over the past decade, he has served the academic community as a member of the engineering panel (for OR/OM/IE/EM) of Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, and an editor/senior editor of various journals such as Transportation Research Part E, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Production and Operations Management, IEEE TSMC-Systems, and Decision Support Systems. He has been listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate (Web of Science) since 2022. He is currently editing the Encyclopedia in Operations Management (by Elsevier), which is a multi-volume major reference book in operations management.
