About
Dr. Grigorios Kasapidis is a lecturer in the Operations and Supply Chain Management group at the University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Computational Mechanics (with distinction) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His research focuses on the development of advanced meta- and math-heuristic algorithms to solve complex optimization problems in areas such as time scheduling and vehicle routing.
Dr. Kasapidis is particularly interested in the application of high-performance computing technologies, including GPU and cloud computing, to improve algorithm efficiency and scalability. His research integrates constraint programming and mathematical optimization to tackle large-scale, real-world challenges in logistics, supply chain management, and manufacturing.
Committed to both research and education, Dr. Kasapidis teaches courses on Data Analytics, Optimisation and AI technologies, helping students apply advanced computational methods and emerging technologies to solve practical problems. He has published his work in leading academic journals and actively collaborates with industry partners to deliver cutting-edge solutions for logistical and operational challenges.
