About

I am Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management with significant and varied experiences in research, teaching, leadership and knowledge exchange. I have published over sixty journal articles and one book, and been awarded over £4M of direct research and knowledge exchange funding. My current position, which I have held since September 2018, is Head of the Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM) Subject Group. The Group has a fast-growing reputation for innovative and world-leading research. The ambition is for our research to drive and support business competitiveness, environmental health and social wellbeing by making original contributions to the theory and practice of operations and supply chain management. We lead the School's Centre for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/management/research/centres/cscr/) and three of its largest and most-established MSc programmes in Operations & Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics & Big Data, and Project Management, in addition to a new MSc programme in AI for Digital Business.

I am a member of the School Management Committee and former member University Senate. I was Interim Head of the Marketing Subject Group from September 2018 to May 2020, and Head of the Marketing & Operations Subject Group from September 2017 to August 2018.
