Premier League CEO Richard Masters shares insights with Management School students

On Friday 28 February, the University of Liverpool Management School hosted Richard Masters, CEO of the Premier League, for an exclusive guest lecture with Football Industries MBA candidates, MSc Sports Business and Management students and alumni.
The session offered valuable insights into the strategies driving the Premier League’s global success.
Richard discussed the league’s impressive revenue growth and its expanding international reach, particularly in selling broadcasting rights across different regions.
He also highlighted the Premier League’s innovative developments, including its strategies for future growth and sustainability, aimed at maintaining its position as one of the world’s leading sports leagues.
A notable moment of the talk was the discussion of the Independent Football Regulator, which is set to impact the entire football industry. Richard provided an in-depth analysis of the potential effects this could have on the sport's future landscape.
