Success of Enhance Conference 2024
On Wednesday 6 November, over 200 Management School master’s students took part in the Enhance Career Conference at the Hilton Hotel.
Throughout the day, students experienced hands on interactive training with industry experts including Tonia Galati (TG Consulting), Mark Kay (BJSS), Megan Hood (Enterprise Mobility), Louise Graham (ACCA) and Barry Challinor (BDO UK). Each industry professional delivered sessions and discussions focussing on their own career journey and perspectives in addition to sharing industry insights, advice, expertise and employability tips to students.
Students were also able to connect and network with Management School master’s alumni Rudy Parengal (MSc International Business/Abjak), James Mantle (MSc Management/MTC), Lasya Tammu (MSc Finance/Tri Star Medicals) who shared their own career advice, post-university perspectives and more.
As well as having the opportunity to sharpen their analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, the conference concluded with a reflective discussion on personal goal setting where they learnt the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options and Will), a framework designed to help individuals achieve their objectives.
Commenting on the day, MSc Business Analytics and Big Data student Zainab Alstrawi posted on LinkedIn she was: “Thrilled to have attended the Enhance Career Conference… It was a fantastic experience connecting with industry leaders and meeting inspiring alumni who shared their journeys and insights.”
