Management School master’s students who completed this year’s ULMS Extracurricular Engagement, Careers, and Skills (ExECS) Award came together to mark the end of the extra-curricular programme.

Certificates, and the coveted postgraduate hoodies, were handed out to all students who had completed the Award, with additional prizes given to students for additional activities from over the last year.

A year in the life

One of the most popular activities from this year’s ULMS ExECS was the photo competition, where students submitted photos of themselves enjoying life in and around the University campus and the city.  Staff and students then voted on the shots with the winning shot depicting students participating in trips to Chester and Anfield Stadium.

The Class of 2024 shared their ULMS ExECS experience:

"Being honoured with the 'Mostly Engaged' award in the ULMS ExECS program has profoundly enriched my personal and professional journey. Engaging in over 60+ diverse activities has significantly advanced my employability, cultivated essential skills, and deepened my commitment to future job prospects.” Vaishali Panwar, MSc Marketing

"The ULMS ExECS Award program has encouraged me to broaden my horizons, garner employability skills and career knowledge, and helped me to make the most of my time here in the beautiful city of Liverpool!" Piper Kufeldt, MSc International Business

"ULMS MSc ExECS Award has taught me the value 3 things: Hustle, Loyalty and Respect. It made me realise that I must work hard and occasionally stop and smell the roses. Loyalty/consistency is the key to accomplishing my personal and professional goals. Respect here is earned and given in its own time, you just need to know when and who to give it to." Sushant Khande, MSc Digital Marketing and Analytics

"Participating in the MSc ExECS helped me explore a range of extra-curricular activities, which got me fully immersed in both skills development and Liverpool's culture while also providing invaluable networking opportunities. It is definitely worthwhile and rewarding for anyone who decides to participate."  Damilare Ojo, MSc Economics

Congratulations to everyone in the ULMS ExECS Class of 2024!
