The Management School was excited to launch its new alumni speaker series last week, Game Changers; the series spotlights ULMS alumni who are shaking things up in their profession or sector and achieving amazing results.

Kicking off the series on 12th June, alumnus Paresh Mistry (BA Accountancy and Finance 2002), Founder and Managing Director of ROLABOTIC, an independent innovation, digital and automation Management Consulting Firm talked about his career journey and challenging the status quo. Gavin Brown (PG Lead for the Accounting and Finance group, Associate Professor in Financial technology) talked to Paresh about his core beliefs and how Rolabotic are disrupting the traditional consultancy model.

After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2002, Paresh qualified as a Chartered Accountant and MBA whilst progressing his career through Finance, Sales, Commercial and Strategy. He founded ROLABOTIC in 2016 to provide a truly independent voice in what he terms the biased consulting ecosystem. The firm is named after his son ROhan, his daughter LAila and as the first client engagements revolved around fixing RoBOTIC Process Automation (RPA) projects. ROLABOTIC focuses on 3 P's: People, Prototypes & Purpose.

Alumni Engagement Manager, Lisa Gerraty said ‘Paresh was the perfect person to launch the Game Changer series, with his refreshingly bold beliefs and ambitions – 80 students and alumni from around the world watched live and posed questions to learn more about his journey and values’
