BA Marketing programmes awarded CIM Employability status
We are pleased to announce that our BA Marketing and BA Marketing Year in Industry programmes have recently been awarded the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Employability Programme Award.
The application process was led by Accreditation Manager, Bethan Jones-Davies and Director of Studies for the programmes, Dr Rachel Spence. Receiving this award reflects the important role our programmes have in helping students develop crucial employability skills, which will help them succeed in their future careers.
Learner Partnerships Manager from CIM, Jonny Crawley ACIM had this to say about this fantastic achievement.
‘CIM is delighted to award CIM Employability Programme (CEP) status for University of Liverpool's BA Marketing and BA Marketing Year in Industry programmes. This award highlights the importance these programmes place on providing its students with opportunities to develop essential transferable capabilities through practice.
University of Liverpool Management School can take pride in BA Marketing and BA Marketing Year in Industry programmes' excellence in employability, assuring both students and staff that its theory and practical learning components effectively meet employer expectations of modern graduates.
The CEP award helps students to recognise when and how they have gained capabilities that are highly sought after by today's employers and encourages them to leverage the employability-enhancing opportunities offered by BA Marketing and BA Marketing Year in Industry programmes.
Special thanks and congratulations go to Rachel Spence and Bethan Jones-Davies, who worked collaboratively with CIM to ensure their programmes meet CEP Criteria.’
Students can further benefit by signing-up for an exclusive quarterly newsletter, with each edition providing them with content designed to support their studies and actively manage their professional development.
This is a fantastic addition to both programmes, which are already accredited by CIM and CIMA. The CIM award offers our students exemptions from modules on Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and modules on the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. The CIMA award reflects the skills and understanding our students gain in how businesses operate and are managed, how people work together and how to create strategies.
