AI for Digital Business MSc course launched for 2024
The triple-accredited University of Liverpool Management School has launched a new course to its master’s portfolio for autumn 2024 which focuses on the effective and responsible use of AI and emerging technologies in modern businesses.
The AI for Digital Business MSc course will provide students with a sound strategic understanding of the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies to meet the growing demand from business and the public sector for graduates with the latest AI and digital technology knowledge and skills.
Jason Laws, Associate Dean (Postgraduate) at the Management School, said of the new course: “The launch of our AI for Digital Business MSc is in response to market and student demand for a programme straddling artificial intelligence and management education. It is in keeping with our recent launches of MSc Data Science for Economics, MSc Digital Marketing and Analytics, and MSc Financial Technology as we expand our AI and analytics offering.”
The course, which will be delivered as part of the School’s Operations and Supply Chain Management group, is open to applicants from any undergraduate discipline and will cover topics such as AI applications and innovations as well as ethics and regulations. Students will develop a profound understanding of the latest thinking in AI and a wide array of digital solutions such as robotics, enterprise resource planning, the Internet of Things (IoT), data science, 3D printing, machine learning, intelligent agents and blockchain using software such as ChatGPT Pro, RStudio, Tableau, Qlik, SAP and Witness.
