Students enjoy enhancement week events

Students from across the Management School’s master’s portfolio have been taking part in a calendar of exciting activities, workshops and events as part of the final enhancement week of semester one.
Students enjoyed activities ranging from sessions on embracing AI in their job search and exploring digital marketing tools to practical workshops on speaking with confidence and networking. Social events ran throughout the week to foster friendships across the master’s cohort and support their wellbeing, including a treasure hunt around the city centre, sports day quiz night, and two ‘secret cinema’ movie nights showing The Social Network and The Big Short.
One highlight from the week was an esports tournament organised by students from the MSc Sports Business and Management programme which saw master’s students compete against first-team players from Tranmere Rovers FC; Connor Robson, Dan Pike, and Mikey Davies; in games of FC24.
The enhancement weeks have been built into the master’s teaching calendar for weeks 6 and 12 of each semester with events designed to help students prepare for their next steps after graduation.
