Management School Celebrates Staff Awards 2022/23
The Management School hosted its annual Staff Awards on Wednesday 12 July 2023 which celebrates the achievements of both academic and professional services staff across the School for the 2022/23 academic year.

A "Special Award" was also presented to Professor Alex Kostakis for his remarkable accomplishments during his tenure as Accounting and Finance Subject Group Head by setting a new standard for the group.
Alex's colleagues praised him for his exceptional vision and tireless dedication as under his guidance the group has witnessed significant progress in program innovation at all levels (BSc Finance with Data Analytics; MSc Financial Technology; new PhD program), forging new paths to keep our curriculum aligned with the ever-evolving demands of the field.
Teaching certificates were also awarded to a number of Management School colleagues whose modules received a score of over 4.5 including:

Professional Services (PS) Awards
Making a Difference Award
The "Making a Difference Award" recognises Sarah Isenberg and Denise Wright who make a difference to their colleagues and the students of the Management School in ways that are perhaps less apparent as we go about the working day. Both colleagues are unsung heroes who demonstrate sustained excellence in their role day in and day out.
Outstanding Contribution Award
The "Outstanding Contribute Award" was awarded to Danny Black, Ruth Garrett, and Ian Roberts who have made an outstanding contribution to the School during the past academic year, epitomising our vision and core values, including supporting our ULMS community, demonstrating a “can do” attitude in a changing context, social and environmental responsibility and support for inclusivity and opportunities for all.
Teamwork of the Year
After several nominations, the Marketing, Recruitment, Communications and Events Team were awarded "Teamwork of the Year" for all of their hard work and the tremendous impact they have had during the School's 20th anniversary celebration year.
The team were praised for how they tackled every new challenge with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrating both diligence and kindness in everything they do.
