Management School hosts Employment and Recruitment panel and networking
On Tuesday 22 March the Management School’s BA Business Management programme hosted a networking and panel session focussing on the current state of employment and recruitment in the post-Covid workplace.
Business representatives from BDO, Aaron & Partners and the Government Legal Department were panellists alongside some of the students and staff. The session, attended by around 40 Business Management students was highly interactive and covered themes such as: increased business costs; online and hybrid working; GDPR; time management; efficiency; staff anxiety; power dynamics; borderless careers; and global connetedness. Following the panel session, attendees were encouraged to continue networking over refreshments.
Dr Jason MacVaugh, Director of Studies for the programme, chaired the session and said:
“We were delighted to be able to host the session face to face and encourage the interaction between the students and the businesses.
"Hearing both student and employer views about the post-Covid workplace was really insightful and sparked some interesting conversations, which was exactly what we’d hoped! Our thanks to all who contributed.”
