Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Leveraged Buyout (LBO) Masterclass

On Wednesday 30 March 35 ULMS students across BA Accounting and Finance, BSc Economics and BA Business Economics attended a one-day masterclass in the Management School Bloomberg suite this week delivered by Dr Colin Dooling from Financial Edge (FE).

FE provide the training to the top 4 Investment Banks on Wall Street so the masterclass represented an excellent opportunity for students to gain a greater understanding of building and analysing financial models for M&As and LBOs.

The student feedback on the session was excellent with students valuing the ability to gain more insight into the role of an investment banking analyst and build their excel skills.

Students who attended are also able to gain access to FE’s online learning portal for 30 days to allow them to further increase their knowledge of M&A and LBO modelling.
