Faculty Learning, Teaching and Student Experience Award given to ULMS Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Project

Earlier this week it was revealed that the team, led by Professor Terry McNulty, behind the ULMS Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Projects: Dr Ahmed Al-Abdin, Dr Dane Anderton, Dr Severina Cartwright, Dr Danai Christopoulou, John Green, Bernie Lyons, Dr Jason MacVaugh and Aimee Neill have been awarded with a Learning & Teaching and Student Experience (LTSE) Award!

The COIL project has seen both undergraduate and postgraduate students working alongside The University of Georgia, Indian Institute of Management Indore and more recently The Berlin School of Economics & Law (BSE) as students attended joint lectures, enjoyed guest speakers from industry and worked on a team project that saw them build incredible websites for new business ventures and present their ideas.

As the second LTSE award in recent years for the ULMS Study Abroad team, they will now be submitting a further representation to try and win the Sir Alistair Pilkington award.

The annual LTSE award scheme has been in existence since the mid-1990s and recognises staff that demonstrate positive impact on learning and teaching/student experience activities.
