David Cockayne, Director of Studies MSc Sports Business and Management, said “I’m delighted to see MSc Sports Business & Management rank amongst the best Sports Business & Management programmes in the World. This is a great success given our first cohort was 2017/18 and reflects the excellent work of our expert teaching team, and colleagues from professional services.
“Our position also signifies that our students enjoyed a positive learning experience while at Liverpool, and have since gone on to secure management level positions within the global sports industry. When designing the learning objectives for MSc SBM we ensured that a focus on responsible and sustainable development and practice was at the heart of how we would prepare students across the various management disciplines that constitute the programme. This has been a crucial differentiator and source of value for our students, and will no doubt ensure the continued success of the programme in years to come.”
Dr Babatunde Buraimo, Director of Studies Football Industries MBA, said “I’m pleased that the Football Industries MBA (FIMBA) programme is again ranked in the top sports programmes globally. The outcomes of this great news is testimony to the great students that join the programme and become part of the FIMBA family long after they have graduated.
“The FIMBA programme remains the only football specific MBA programme globally and continues to provide business and management education specific to the beautiful game. The programme continues to advance by having some of the world’s leading sports business and management academics and by drawing on the expertise of a management school that is globally accredited.”
