Football Industries MBA climbs in SportsBusiness Postgraduate course rankings
The Management School’s Football Industries MBA programme has climbed five places in this year’s SportsBusiness Postgraduate Course rankings.
Based on surveys submitted by alumni, the ranking lists the top 40 postgraduate sports business courses worldwide. It measures programmes on various criteria including diversity of the cohort, quality of teaching, work placements, employment after graduation and value for money.
Dr Babatunde Buraimo, Director of Studies for the Football Industries MBA, said “We are very pleased that the Football Industries MBA programme has improved its positions in the Sport Business rankings and this is testament to the calibre of academics and their work, and also to the students who study hard on the programme to enhance their understanding of the business of football.
The rankings only reflect a small part of the great work we do and this year has seen high profile guests from professional football, from across Europe and further, visit the University. Our students have also had the opportunity to visit the European and world headquarters’ of football: UEFA in Nyon and FIFA in Zurich.
We provide students with first-class football research in the areas of business, management and analytics, which we look to combine with invaluable industry engagement.”
