MBA students visit MK Dons
The Football Industries MBA (FIMBA) cohort recently visited MK Dons FC to find out more about the club and how it operates.
Students were hosted by Executive Director, Andrew Cullen, who gave a detailed insight into the strategy and operations of the club and its unique business model. Students also had the opportunity to hear from Paul Tisdale, MK Dons Manager, who shared his thoughts on football management.
After the talks students were taken on a tour of the stadium where they were able to access the player areas as well as the control centre.
Clemens Hinterdorfer, FIMBA student, commented “Usually when you think of professional football, you think of the global powerhouses like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester City. The trip gave me another point of view and showed me that even lower league clubs have fantastic business models and are constantly thinking about improving in every aspect.”
