Master’s Students attend launch of We Can Work it Out Master’s Consultancy Challenge

The Management School launched its ‘We can work it out’ master’s consultancy challenge on Wednesday 30th January.

Building on the success of the inaugural ‘We Can Work it out’, which took place in the last academic year, the challenge is open to students from across the School’s master’s programmes.

Participants are split into groups and presented with a business consultancy problem from a real organisation. This year’s organisations include PwC, Mando, Rad Wraps, Santander, Sysdoc, Future Industrial Services, Chester Zoo, UoL marketing department, Hays, Airbus and Open Programmatic.

Groups now have four weeks to work on forming solutions to the business challenges given. Throughout the process they will have exclusive access to a consultancy expert and will benefit from workshops such as ‘developing consultancy skills’ and ‘pitching an idea’.

Louise Mustchin, MSc careers advisor, commented “‘The ‘We can work it out’ challenge is a great way for students to connect with, and work alongside, graduate employers. It also provides a unique opportunity to develop emloyability skills which will be crucial when applying for positions upon graduation. I am looking forward to seeing the final presentations from each of our groups."

The final will be held on Thursday 28th February at the Management School.
