Management School holds MBA Masterclass on Cryptocurrencies

On Thursday 15th February, Dr Naseem Naqvi, co-founder of the British Blockchain Association, visited the Management School to deliver a masterclass giving insight into cryptocurrencies.

Naseem is a leading expert in this new growing area as well as a Blockchain academician, Fin-tech entrepreneur and a Consultant Neurovascular Physician in the NHS. He is currently working on a research project evaluating the utility of Blockchain and DApps (decentralised applications) in Medical Education - a system that would enable educational institutions to create, customise and deploy decentralised applications in Medical Education landscape. 

During the masterclass, students heard about the difference between currency and money, the origin of Bitcoin and how Bitcoin works.
