The Management School congratulate graduates from the Growth Catalyst programme
On the 30th April, the latest cohort of 25 owner managers graduated from the University of Liverpool Management School’s programme. This leadership development programme is designed to improve the leadership and management abilities of local owner managers to help them grow their businesses.
Professor Ossie Jones, programme director, congratulated the 25 business owners for successfully completing the programme and reiterated the importance of knowledge exchange between the Management School, Centre for Enterprise and the local business community.
Developed by the Management School, this eight month programme endeavours to improve the productivity and profitability of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises. Growth Catalyst incorporates an integrated delivery model made up of six elements delivered simultaneously to improve the business performance and the personal development of the owner manager completing the programme. Elements include an experiential event, action learning, coaching, master classes, exchange visits as well as learning and reflection days.
Nikki Bouchier, from Bromley Cleaning Service Ltd, said: ‘I have found the programme very useful. My confidence has grown and I now feel more equipped to take the business further.'
Kay Aspinal, owner of Bebington Glass Ltd, also commented: ‘I really enjoyed this programme and I’m very sad it is coming to an end. I have met some lovely, supportive people and have learned a lot about my business. I would definitely recommend the programme to others.’
