PLINTHS: Homes & Mobility

This 7-day long international housing workshop will be set in Hong Kong, focusing on post-war, high-density housing estates with an integrated plinth. The workshop is organised by the Liverpool School of Architecture, with the following partners institutions and locations: Hong Kong University, Mei Ho HouseM+ Museum and Hong Kong Architectural History blog (Dr Charles Lai).

LSA Winter School 2025

An opportunity to take part in the annual cross School workshop event. With LSA participants from BA1 to MSc, the Winter School is a chance to work with professionals on short projects, learning new skills, making new contacts, and celebrating the qualities of creative collaboration.

Women Architects in Finland: The pioneering role of Aino Marsio Aalto

The lecture examines the figure of Aino Marsio (1894-1949), the first wife of Alvar Aalto (1898-1972), from the years of her education at the Helsinki University of Technology up to her premature death in January 1949.
