What's the Future of Human Space Flight - Q&A with Holly Ridings (NASA)

On Wednesday afternoon LivWiSE will welcome over 300 high school pupils to a special Q&A event with Holly Ridings, the first female Chief Flight Director at NASA.

Holly works at Mission Control in Houston, Texas, and is responsible for all NASA Human Space Flight missions including the International Space Station, the Orion Programme, NASA's return to the Moon, and future manned missions to Mars.

In this event, Holly will briefly talk about her role at NASA, the current and future of human space flight missions, before answering pre-set questions from the audience. The talk will start at 2pm and end at 3pm, and will be facilitated by Dr Jackie Bell, a Liverpool Graduate and participant on the BBC’s ‘Astronauts: Do You Have What it Takes?’
