September 2016: Yasmin Tredell broke the human powered land speed record reaching 71.05 mph. The School of Engineering ULVTeam designed and built ARION2.

Researcher receives national eye and vision award

9 Septemeber 2016: Rosalind Stewart, an honorary clinical fellow at the University’s Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease, has received a national award for her research in ophthalmology from The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) and Fight for Sight.
