LivWiSE celebrates, supports and promotes women, non-binary people and under represented groups in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). We organise events, lectures, networking and development opportunities and work closely with industry partners, women in science and STEMM organisations.
LivWiSE is an open society for everyone studying, working in, or who has an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine (STEMM). This includes all areas of physical, materials and biological sciences and engineering e.g. Biology, Zoology, Ecology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Evolution, Veterinary Science, Medicine, Nursing, Radiology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Geology, Geography, Marine Biology, Ecosystems, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intellegence, Infection and Disease, Psychology, Translational Medicine, Maths, Statistics, Probability, Physics, Astophysics, Chemistry etc.
